Spread Eagle
KEY NOTES
This is one of my favourite patterns because it allows us to travel and fill the floor.
Leader:
- When turning your follower with both hands remember to keep your 2 hands close to each other when they are going around your follower’s head.
- When leading in the actual Spread Eagle move, first step away from your partner, then bring both hands up and then spread them apart.
Follower:
- For your travel/turns (the turns at the end of the pattern) use 1 forward step per half turn so that you are travelling on the floor while turning.
TODAY’S TIP
Remember to spot when you are turning. It will stop you from getting dizzy (or it will at least slow down the process), it will make you look sharper, faster and in control.
