Travelling Turns

KEY NOTES

Remember to keep your line of dance, it should be parallel to the front row of your guests, just like we did when filming this tutorial.

Leader remember the sequence: 

  • 1- Open the line.
  • 2- Lead your follower to travel on the line.
  • 3- Turn your follower.

TODAY’S TIP

The Travel Turn is the first technique in this tutorial that you can take or leave. We advise using it as it encourages you to use more floor space and gives volume to your choreography but there is a lot more to come so if you don’t like it, move on!
